Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and BytePair LLC ("we", "us") covering your use of Printraband (the "Game") and our websites. By downloading or playing the Game, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't play.

1. Who can play

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country). If you're under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you and is responsible for any purchases.

2. Your account

You can play as a guest or link an Apple, Google Play Games, or Facebook account to use cloud save. Your progress can only be active on one device at a time. Keep your sign-in account secure; you're responsible for activity on your account. Guest progress lives on your device and may be lost if you uninstall the Game or change devices without linking an account.

3. License

We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Game for your own non-commercial entertainment. We (and our licensors) own the Game and all of its content. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you.

4. Virtual items and in-app purchases

• The Game contains virtual currencies (such as gems) and virtual items. You can earn some of them by playing and buy some with real money through the App Store or Google Play.
• Virtual currency and items have no real-world monetary value, can't be exchanged for cash, and can't be sold or transferred outside the Game. You get a license to use them, not ownership.
• All purchases are final and non-refundable except where the law says otherwise. Refunds for purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. If a refund is granted, we may remove the items or currency that were purchased.
• Chests and similar items give randomised rewards. The odds for each are published on the Printraband wiki.
• We may change, rebalance, or remove virtual items as part of running the Game.

5. Advertising

The Game shows ads, including optional rewarded ads that give in-game rewards for watching. Rewards depend on an ad being available and fully watched, and daily limits may apply.

6. Fair play

You agree not to:

• cheat, or use bots, mods, hacks, or other unauthorised software;
• exploit bugs, or change your device clock to gain an advantage;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the Game or our servers;
• buy, sell, or trade accounts or virtual items outside the Game;
• interfere with the Game, other players, or our services.

If you break these rules, we may reset progress, remove items, or suspend or terminate your account.

7. Changes and availability

We keep developing the Game, so features and content may change. We don't promise that the Game will always be available or error-free, and we may stop offering it. If we permanently shut down the Game, we'll give reasonable notice in the Game where we can.

8. Ending this agreement

You can stop playing at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. When the agreement ends, your license, including to virtual items, ends too.

9. Disclaimers

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability to you won't exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you, and nothing here limits rights you have by law as a consumer.

11. Apple and Google

These terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google aren't responsible for the Game or its support. If you downloaded the Game from the App Store, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. If the Game fails to meet an applicable warranty, you can notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if any), and Apple has no other warranty obligation. Your use of the Game must also follow the App Store or Google Play terms.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep playing after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
